How Does Ice-Free Curling Work?
Deliver the Stone
Start from the hack and slide your stone towards the target, called the house. The goal is to get as close to the centre as possible.
Take Turns
Teams alternate sliding stones, aiming for the button (the bullseye in the house) in a battle of precision.
Collect the Stones
At the end of each round, players retrieve the stones and prepare for the next.
Scoring
The team with the stone closest to the centre scores points. Strategy and teamwork are key!
What Are the Rules of Curling?
Illegal throws:
Stones that leave the hand in the air don’t count. Repeat offenders might be disqualified—or just laughed off the sheet by their mates
Out of bounds:
Stones that bounce off the sides or the back of the sheet are out of play and won’t count towards your score.
Friendly competition:
We’re all about having fun! Don’t worry if it’s your first time curling—everyone’s here to enjoy themselves.
